I'm generally pretty supportive of the police. One of the great pluses of the last 14 years as a social worker has been getting to know a number of police officers and working quite closely with them , at times.
Stories like the one below trouble me, though.
Mistakes happen. Mistakes that almost get people killed are harder to excuse.
